KELMAN FAMILY IN MADAGASCAR - July 2026

I would like to warmly recommend on Gassitours Company, which my family ( 5 persons) traveled for 3 weeks with them in Madagascar. It was an amazing trip with excellent guides and drivers of Gassitours.
First, before the trip, Belaza and I talked and planned the trip together, he considered all the needs I requested him and changed the plan accordingly.
During the trip, we traveled with several guides that Belaza chose for us. Each of them knew English well, and gave us a lot of details and stories regarding the specific area we visited.
I would like to share with you here the names of the guides that we especially liked and we highly recommend them: Theo - an amazing guide and unique person we all enjoyed his company, always took care of us with a big smile and open heart. He shared with us his knowledge and stories about Madagascar, and made efforts above and beyond to make sure we had the best time and experience.
Samboo - a very kind and special guide, shared with us lots of interesting stories about life and culture of the island. Always took care of us with patience.
Roxy - is a very professional and experienced guide, he has an endless knowledge of the island. In addition, he made sure to be open to our needs as a family during the trip and adjusted it accordingly, with great patience.
Stephan - a kind and very special man, shared with us a lot of information about the place we traveled with him. He is a guide for many years, knowing Madagascar very well.
Belaza- the manager of Gassitours , who traveled with us also for several days, he always took care of us and offered assitance. When we spontaneously wanted to change the trip plan, he made a lot of efforts to make it possible.
In addition, Juju and Lulu who were our drivers in the Tsingy area (a place that is more difficult to drive to and requires a 4×4 vehicle), did an excellent job and were always in a good vibe, drove professionally and took care of us.
The other drivers: Tahina, Bota and Rico - were very nice and kind, and did their job very well.
To sum it up, I highly recommend traveling to Madagascar with Gassitours . We had excellent experience and very good time with the whole guides of this company.

Jonathan - July 2026

We would recommend Gassitours for travellers to Madagascar, having taken a 10 day RN7 tour. Although the initial communication with Belaza and payment could have been better managed, we were met by our guide, Marius, as arranged. He was an excellent guide and looked after us well throughout and our driver was also very good (important given the state of some roads and the lengthy trips we had). We also had fantastic guides at all the national parks we visited. The scenery was often spectacular but our wildlife encounters were what made it such a memorable experience. Thanks again to Marius, our guide, and driver Nirina…you looked after us so well and we really appreciate it.

West coast: My private tour guide Marena, was very accommodating and answered all my questions. Her English was perfect and I really enjoyed spending time with her. Marena even helped me buy food and take it to a village that we were going to visit as part of the tour. The boabab trees were stunning and I did see lemurs in the rainforest. Capital city & rainforest: Belaza was my private tour guide. He communicated with me many times over ‎WhatsApp before my tour started. His English was perfect and he always answered my questions right away. Belaza was very good at taking care of my wants and dealing with my plane change schedules. He even helped me buy food and distribute it to several villages which was not part of the original tour. My driver was always very polite and helped carry the food and whatever was needed. The Rainforest was a secondary rainforest, and I did see lots of different species of lemurs. I went to a reptile refuge place which was way more than I expected. The different reptiles were more than amazing. The drive from the capital to the rainforest was interesting and parts of it very beautiful.

If you wish to experience the uniqueness of the country, you can opt to stay in small hotels which are often located near the national parks, or the nearby towns which allow you good access to the local surroundings. Not only will you save some money, but it will allow you to enjoy the vibes of the regional people. This type of accommodation is equipped with a simple bed and a rustic, charming bathroom with hot water. If you have a larger budget, you can also opt to book luxury accommodations which come with a large bed, and an en suite bathroom with a private toilet. These hotels also often have swimming pools and massage services available to be utilized.

Our 16-day journey through Madagascar was truly one of the most unforgettable trips we have ever experienced.
The itinerary was exceptional, allowing us to discover the incredible diversity of Madagascar's landscapes, wildlife, and culture. From the magnificent Avenue of the Baobabs and the unique forests of Kirindy and Andasibe to the beautiful Palmarium Reserve, Ranomafana National Park, Isalo, and the southwest coast, every day brought new and unforgettable experiences.
What impressed us most was how perfectly everything was organized. Every transfer, domestic flight, accommodation, excursion, and activity was carefully planned and executed flawlessly. We never had to worry about logistics, which allowed us to fully enjoy every moment of this amazing journey.
The hotels were comfortable, the schedule was well balanced, and the entire trip ran smoothly from beginning to end. As senior travelers, we especially appreciated the thoughtful planning and attention to every detail.
Thank you for providing such a wonderful travel experience. We returned home with unforgettable memories, thousands of beautiful photographs, and a deep appreciation for the unique nature and culture of Madagascar.
We wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to discover one of the world's most extraordinary destinations.

We were fortunate to find Belaza's Gassitours tourist agency on a random search on the web. Belaza organized our 18-day tour of Madagascar. He planned our itinerary and adjusted it according to our needs and interests. He welcomed us at the Tana airport with his car and driver at 2 AM, and drove us to the Fouboulse hotel. In the morning, we explored Tana. The day after, we started our tour, which included the most important attractions in Madagascar. Balaza was with us most of the time; we always had local guides who were highly knowledgeable and dedicated, and the drivers were very helpful as well. The hotels Belaza booked. were of high quality. All those mentioned above led to the amazing tour we had.

We had a wonderful 10 day tour in the west and east of Madagascar, perfectly organized by Belaza from Gassitours. All went well and smoothly, and we are very thankful for his patience and efficiency, both prior and during the tour. We highly recommend!
