Anja community reserve

This 30 HA community runreserve was established in 2001 in order to provide additional employment andincome to the local villagers also to encourage them to protect the ring tailedlemur living in a woodland area, situated at the base a large cliff.

The Anja Reserve is located 13Km South of Ambalavao in the southern part of Madagascar on the left side alongthe RN7. Less known than the famous national parks like Andasibe or Tsingy deBemaraha, this community reservehas begun to seduce tourists for few years.
