WILDLIFE and ADVENTURE TOUR

We have combined the visit of the rainforest of Andasibe located 145 KM east of Tana home of the biggest lemur of Madagascar called indri indri and other diurnal and nocturnal lemurs to the NP of Tsingy of Bemaraha, the limestone pinnacle rock formation located 200 KM north of Morondava.
Not to forget the river descent of Tsiribihina where you will immerse yourself along the quiet and relaxing voyage watching people going about their daily life, meeting with the local. You will also see different type of aquatic birds, chameleons, lemurs.
We will end up the tour by stopping at the famous avenue of Baobab for a sunset photo.

Itinerary: Tana, Andasibe, Antsirabe, Miandrivazo, River descent, Antseraraka, Belo, Bekopaka, Morondava, Tana or Tulear.

DAY1: Tana or Antananarivo:
Welcoming at the international airport of Tana; meet & greet, then transfer to your hotel.

DAY2: Tana to Andasibe
Meet at the hotel with the driver, and then we drive straight to the NP of Andasibe located 145 km east of Tana.Halt at Peyreras to visit the reptile reserve where you will see reptiles endemic of Madagascar. Lunch in Moramanga, possibility to visit the museum of La Gendarmerie where we will see many exhibits of the criminal act. Arrival in Andasibe late in the afternoon.

DAY 3: Andasibe NP
Visit of the NP of Andasibe for 2 or more depending your fitness to meet up the teddy bear like lemur called indri indri; the biggest lemurs of Madagascar. After lunch, we will head to the Vakoana private reserve to visit the private lemurs where you will meet up 5 species of Lemurs living in a semi wild. Visit of the Village of Andasibe late in the afternoon. Overnight at the same hotel.

DAY 4: Andasibe to Antsirabe
After breakfast, we will head to Antsirabe located 170 km south of Tana.Arrival in Antsirabe in the afternoon. Visit of some workshops. Overnight at

DAY5: Antsirabe to Miandrivazo
After the city tour of Antsirabe by rickshaws, we will head to Miandrivazo, the starting point of the river descent. Arrival there late in the afternoon.

DAY 6: River descent of Tsiribihina
Beginning of the river descent; forest of reeds, watching people going about their daily life; aquatic birds, chameleons. Overnight in the bank of the river in FB (full board)

DAY7: River descent of Tsiribihina
River trip of Tsiribihina again. Natural waterfall, swimming pool, lemurs. After lunch we will visit the village of Begidro where you will learn the local people lifestyle; Overnight at the bank of the river in FB (full board).

DAY 8: Last & half day paddling.

Our last day paddling. After lunch we will take the zebu car to trek till the village of Antsiraraka. Overnight in a local bungalow. A very good occasion to meet up with the local.

DAY 9: Antsiraraka to Bekopaka by 4WD
4WD picks us to drive us till Bekopaka; Cross the ferry, stop in Belo for lunch, then continuation of the trip till Bekopaka.

DAY 10: Exploring the Tsingy NP
After breakfast, we will drive to the big Tsingy located 17 KM north of Bekopaka;then the small one late in the afternoon. Overnight at the same hotel.

DAY 11: Bekopaka to Morondava.
Drive back to Morondava. Stop at Belo for lunch, cross the ferry again then continuation of the trip by stopping en route to visit:
Sacred Baobab, Baobab in love, then sunset photos at the Avenue of the Baobab.
Overnight in Morondava at:

DAY12: Flight to Tana or to Tulear for another destination:
