Tsingy tour via Andasibe is the easiest way to combine the wet Eastern part of Madagascar where the unforgettable morning call of the Indri wakes you up; while the untouchable forest of stones called locally Tsingy home of lemurs and other animal located in the Southwest of the Island is the most bizarre and the wonder of Madagascar, see other world. The NP of Tsingy of Bemaraha has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage. Tsingy is the limestone pinnacle rock formation. This tour ends at the most spectacular Baobab Avenue for an amazing sunset photo after a short detour at Kirindy to watch more lemurs and the biggest puma like as the predator of lemurs called Fossa.

Itinerary: Tana, Andasibe, Morondava, Bekopaka, Tana

Below is the tour programme of the western of Madagascar for 14 days.

DAY1: Arrival at the international airport of Tana

Welcoming at the international airport of Tana, meet and greet, then transfer to your hotel.

DAY2: Tana to Andasibe

We will meet you at your hotel after breakfast with your driver and then proceed along the RN2 to the east of Tana. We will stop at Pereyras Reptile Reserve to spot reptiles endemic of Madagascar. This is a great opportunity to get up close and personal with these amazing animals!! Lunch in Moramanga after a further 40km of driving. Arrival in Andasibe late in the afternoon. Settle in the hotel. Possibility to go at a night walk to spot the nocturnal lemurs known as the smallest of the lemurs in the world.

Early in the morning after breakfast, we leave the hotel then drive 18 Km north of Andasibe; Mantadia National Park to look for the elusive black and white ruffed lemur and diademed sifaka. Visit of the private reserve of Vakoana in the afternoon to watch lemurs very close. This is a best place to see them and you can even feed them with banana and stroke with your hands.

Morning expedition to encounter the INDRI known as the world's biggest lemurs with its almost invisible tail; we will also see other species of lemurs such as the brown lemur, bamboo lemur, wooly lemur and other animals such as chameleons, giraffe necked weevil...The NP of Andasibe hosts a lot of animals -108 species of birds are known in the park. We then drive back to Tana after lunch.

DAY5: transfer to the airport of Tana to fly to Morondava

After a morning breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport of Tana following your domestic flight schedule to fly to Morondava. Arrival in Morondava then transfer to your hotel.

DAY6: Morondava to Bekopaka

Morning drive to Bekopaka located 200 Km north of Morondava. We will have a quick stop at the Avenue of Baobab and the baobab in love for a day photos. We will cross the Tsiribihina river by ferry, stop at Belo for lunch then continuation of the tour till Bekopaka.

DAY7: NP Tsingy of Bemaraha

After breakfast, we will explore the wonder of Tsingy. You are recommended to wear good hiking shoes because the Tsingy is sharp. We will drive 17Km north of your hotel for an hour drive to visit the big Tsingy for 4 hours.
Packed picnic lunch is also recommended.
After the big Tsingy, drive back to Bekopaka to visit the small Tsingy for 2 hours.

DAY8: Bekopaka to Morondava

After our stay in Bekopaka, we will head back to Morondava. Stop at Belo for lunch again; cross the river of Tsiribihina by ferry then detour to the forest of Kirindy after 45 Km drive to see more lemurs and the fossa.
Continuation of the tour till the avenue of Baobab for sunset photos. Drive till Morondava

DAY9: Transfer to the airport of Morondava to fly to Tana.

We will transfer you to the airport of Morondava following your domestic flight schedule to fly to Tana, and then transfer to your hotel at:

DAY10: International airport transfer

Before we transfer you to the international airport of Tana, we will offer a free city tour depending your time. This can be the visit of the Lemur's Park located 23 Km West of Tana or the Queen's Palace located 18 Km North of Tana following the shopping time at La Route Digue on the way to the airport.
