We are pleased to welcome you to the world of the lndri lndri - the famous teddy bear like lemur, which is also one of the biggest lemurs on the lsland. In the East Tour, you will discover the wonders of the Andasibe National Park combined with Mantadia to observe the black and white ruffed lemurs living in a wild , located about 18 Km away from the main NP of Analamazaotra in which live an array of birds, 11 species of diurnal and nocturnal lemurs, orchids, and the amazing chameleons in different colours. Part of the tour also includes a visit to Pereyras Reserve and the private Lemur Island of the Vakoana Lodge, the paradise for lemur lovers.

Itinerary: Tana- Andasibe - Tana

Below is the tour programme of the East of Madagascar for 5 days.

DAY 1: Tana or Antananarivo

Welcoming at the international airport of Tana, meet and greet, then transfer to your hotel.
Overnight at the proposed hotel:

DAY 2: Tana to Andasibe

We will meet you at your hotel after breakfast with your driver and then proceed along the RN2 to the east of Tana. We will stop at Pereyras Reptile Reserve to spot reptiles endemic of Madagascar. This is a great opportunity to get up close and personal with these amazing animals!! Lunch in Moramanga after a further 40km of driving. Arrival in Andasibe late in the afternoon. Settle in the hotel. Possibility to go at a night walk to spot the nocturnal lemurs known as the smallest of the lemurs in the world.

DAY 3: Mantadia NP

Early in the morning after breakfast, we leave the hotel then drive 18 Km north of Andasibe; Mantadia National Park to look for the elusive black and white ruffed lemur and diademed sifaka. Visit of the private reserve of Vakoana in the afternoon to watch lemurs very close. This is a best place to see them and you can even feed them with banana and stroke with your hands.

DAY 4: Analamazaotra or Andasibe NP

Morning expedition to encounter the INDRI known as the world's biggest lemurs with its almost invisible tail; we will also see other species of lemurs such as the brown lemur, bamboo lemur, wooly lemur and other animals such as chameleons, giraffe necked weevil...The NP OF Andasibe hosts a lot of animals -108 species of birds are known in the park. Drive back to Tana after lunch.

DAY 5: International airport transfer

Before we transfer you to the international airport of Tana, we will offer a free city tour depending your time. This can be the visit of the Lemur's Park located 23 Km West of Tana or the Queen's Palace located at 18 Km North of Tana following the shopping time at La Route Digue on the way to the airport.
