Still in preparation, the 25th edition of the Donia Festival will take place on September 26-30, 2018. The entire population of Nosy Be counts the days which, despite the postponement, will do everything possible to make this festival a unique moment of its kind . Numerous events will be on the program, spectators only have to prepare well.
If the city of Nosy Be is used to attending the Donia festival during the weekend of Pentecost, everything has changed this year. Indeed, the event was postponed by four months because of the beginning of Ramadan which corresponds to the dates of the launch of Donia. The city has been keen to respect the dates of Ramadan because a high number of Muslims live in Nosy Be. There was no question of partying while the Muslim community was in full period of Ramadan. The organizers have postponed the festival in September without changing the programs that have already been planned.

South Africa will also send some singers and musicians. It should be noted that there will also be elections of Miss and Mister, carnival and nocturnal celebrations during this 25th edition.
